In a bold move Russian forces have invaded a remote Canadian Oil Field. With only limited personnel on hand Canada is not expected to retain control. Canadian Prime Minister Whosaidit is quoted as stating that local reserve forces will not be able to hold the field long and is asking for American help to contain the "Red Tide of Disaster".
American Secretary of State Sleptwithwho has announced that the nearest American forces will be rushed to Canada's aid as they become mobilized. When asked if the piece meal introduction of troops would be enough Sleptwithwho responded by saying "couldn't tell ya".
During an Interview in Moscow Prime Leader of the Proletariat Dontsharewithanyone is quoted as saying "mother Russian will gain the energy reserves any way needed. If the capitalists pigs of Canada aren't enlightened enough to give it to us we shall just have to show the world our historical imperative of superiority".
